Study at University College London next summer

By

University College London (UCL) is now welcoming applications from students around the world to their 2017 summer school which runs in July and August.

All modules are taught in English; non-native speakers will have to meet the English-language requirement found on the programme website.

You can visit the website or contact summer@ucl.ac.uk if you have any questions about the programme.

Five reasons to apply for the UCL Summer School
  • UCL is one of the world’s leading multidisciplinary universities, ranked seventh in the world, third in Europe and first in London (QS World University Rankings 2016/17) meaning students will benefit from world-leading teaching and research. The summer school has 50 modules available in disciplines such as Health, Psychology, Economics, Medical Sciences, and Social Sciences. All modules are taught by UCL academics, many of whom are experts in their field.

  • London has to be experienced. Voted as the world’s top travel destination in the 2016 TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice awards, the city comes alive in the summer months with an endless selection of cultural, social and academic events and activities. UCL’s central London location gives students access not only to world-renowned culture and nightlife, but also to academic resources. The campus is close to, and has teaching and research links with, countless museums, galleries and libraries.

  • The feedback is excellent. 97% of the 2016 students said they’d recommend the programme to a friend. Highlights, they said, included the quality of teaching, the small class sizes which encourage interaction and debate, the varied social programme consisting of events and activities to make the most of London, and our summer school residence – a designated accommodation in the city centre; 20 minutes’ walk from campus. • UCL is London’s Global University. International students make up nearly half of the student population and come from over 150 countries, giving UCL its cosmopolitan atmosphere.

  • The UCL name is valued on any CV or resume. UCL has been the first university in England to admit students regardless of gender, class or religion. Since 1826, UCL has had many notable alumni.
