UM Launches Executive Masters in Cultural Leadership (EMCL) with the Royal Academy of Arts, London

In October 2018 Maastricht University is launching a pioneering postgraduate course designed to nurture world-class leaders who can inform and shape the arts, creative and cultural sectors.

This international executive programme aims to foster inspirational leaders who bring a rich understanding of the creative process and innovation to their organisations within the creative industries and beyond.

In partnership with the Royal Academy of the Arts in London, the programme draws on an international network of scholars, professionals and experts to provide a practical cutting-edge perspective on key cultural debates, art business, law, entrepreneurship and innovation fostering knowledge and leadership skills which enable long-term, ethical and sustainable business practices. Faculty from MACCH from the School of Business and Economics, Law and FASoS will teach on the programme in Maastricht, alongside faculty from the Royal Academy of Arts - including famous Royal Academicians such as Grayson Perry and Sir Antony Gormley, with the first module to be held in London in October during FRIEZE art fair in the 250 anniversary year of the Royal Academy of Arts (RA).
