Many project partners have visited SHE for attending SHE Courses and more and more of SHE Collaborates partners are members of the The Networks Towards Unity for Health (TUFH). SHE Collaborates will be hosting the 2018 TUFH post conference of the 2018 Annual Meeting of The Network at Maastricht University in the Netherlands and co-hosted by Zuyd Hogeschool, the Netherlands on 22-23 August 2018.

We like to open our doors for our partners and give opportunities for personal development while visiting Maastricht University during TUFH 2018. We can offer TUFH members the opportunity to join in Student Centered Learning following the TUFH post-Conference 2018 to experience and learn about the Maastricht Educational Problem Based Learning Model.

UM is the European pioneer of Problem-Based Learning (PBL), the education model and has been working with it ever since the university was founded. The "Maastricht Model" has received world-wide praise for its innovative approaches in teaching and learning. Maastricht University obviously evolved in the 40 years of her existing and since the last TUFH Conference and went through innovations that are worthwhile presenting by hosting the TUFH Conference in all its diversity. Site visits ideas in all its variety will present Maastricht University, the Maastricht University Medical Centre (MUMC+) and the Brightlands Campus at the best and will be inspiring and contributing to the success of the conference.

Maastricht University is located, as the most International University in The Netherlands, in Europe. Focused on the world. Maastricht University is a stimulating environment. Where research and teaching are complementary. Where innovation is our focus and talent can flourish. A truly student oriented research university. Maastricht University was one of the founding fathers of The Networks Towards Unity for Health and hosted the TUFH Conference in 1984. Hosting the 2018 TUFH Conference almost 35 years later in Maastricht again would is a great honour towards our network partners to strengthen the ties and welcome them in our home.
