Benoeming Agustin Parise tot Associate Member of the International Academy of Comparative Law

Agustin Parise is benoemd tot Associate Member of the International Academy of Comparative Law (AIDC).

Agustín Parise has been elected Associate Member of the International Academy of Comparative Law (AIDC). The proposal was made by the President Katharina Boele-Woelki and by the Secretary-General Diego Fernández Arroyo, and was subject to vote by preceding members.

AIDC was founded at The Hague in 1924. It gathers jurists from all countries and undertakes the diffusion of publications which consider all legal orders and all legal systems. The majority of members are academics but also includes judges of courts of supreme and international jurisdiction, hence blending the interest for scientific activities and the practice of law.

Agustín is Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law. He received his degrees of LLB and LLD at Universidad de Buenos Aires (Argentina), where he was Lecturer in Legal History during 2001-2005. He received his degree of LLM at Louisiana State University Law Center (USA), where he was Research Associate at the Center of Civil Law Studies during 2006-2010. Agustín received his degree of PhD at Maastricht University, where he was Researcher at the Department of Methods and Foundations of Law during 2011-2015.
