From March 11-15, 2019, SHE PhD candidates from across the globe visited Maastricht to participate in our bi-annual SHE Academy. PhD candidates and supervisors met for an inspirational four days of networking, discussing research, debating ethical dilemmas, deepening methodological skills, pub quizzing, and much more.

We would especially like to thank Dr. Peter Dieckmann and Prof. Olle ten Cate for their thought provoking keynote lectures and all the PhD candidates and SHE staff who put in great effort and participated actively to make SHE Academy 2019 a big success. Also, many thanks to our amazing organizing team Nicky Verleng, Lilian Swaen, HQ Chim, Lianne Loosveld, Serge Mordang and Sanne Schreurs. We hope our PhD candidates were able to achieve what they expected, and look forward to seeing you for a new round at SHE Academy 2021!
