For the fourth consecutive year the HPIM & GL-EPH masters held a successful career day under the title “Jump-start your career in healthcare”. The event was organized by members of the department of Health Services Research and the department of International Health, in cooperation with the Alumni Office and UniPartners and the Educational Office. 108 registered participants, a diversity of enthusiastic panel members, speakers and workshop-hosts and 31 alumni volunteers were involved in the event.

The day kicked off with an opening and introduction by Aggie Paulus and Ellen Bastiaens and was followed by a plenary expert panel, workshops and a networking reception. Creating and maintaining links between our students and alumni is essential to future employability. The contributions made by our 31 volunteer alumni not only enhanced the day’s goals, but placed emphasis on our belief that alumni contribute to employability successes and students contribute to the business success, a winning combination.
