Contribute to special projects of UM
In recent months, Maastricht University (UM) has once again fully devoted itself to important research and education for the sake of a better society. The Limburg University Fund/SWOL supports UM in this, but your assistance is likewise vital! Consequently, as part of the Voor Elkaar 2019 (‘For Each Other 2019’) campaign, we will soon be asking for your contribution to special projects: research on chronic pain in women; a recycling site for plastic; our scholarship programme; and a ‘beastly’ experience space for children in the hospital. Keep a close eye on your mailbox, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and www.umcrowd.nl!

In Maastricht, scientists are studying whether the suppression of the same enzymes can also improve cognition in Alzheimer’s patients.
