Towards a sustainable university in 2030!
The programme Sustainable UM2030 organises (online) Green Impact information sessions and other sustainability events. This institute also works throughout the organisation on project plans, research, and policy in the areas of sustainable international travel, training and education for employees, health and wellness in university buildings, greener campuses, and more. On 1 July, there will be presentations about the plans that the teams of Sustainable UM2030 worked on; these will be presented later on the website. In spite of the corona crisis, UM considers sustainability of paramount importance!

Call for input: racism focus groups
UM's Diversity & Inclusivity Office (see picture) would like to invite UM community members of colour (staff, students and alumni) to share their experiences and think about actions to fight racism at UM in an online focus group setting. These focus groups are scheduled on Tuesday 7 July 2020 (15.00-17.00) and Thursday 9 July 2020 (15.00-17.00).

February 20, 2020: Paul, son of Anna Lena Bergmann (FASoS 2009, LAW 2011) and Thomas Theelen (FHML 2010, 2012 and PhD FHML 2016).
March 19, 2020: Mathilde, daughter of Evelyn Heynen (FHML, 2008) and Mathias Klossek.
Special detail: Mathilde was the first ‘corona baby’ in the Netherlands! Her mother found out during her pregnancy that she was infected by the virus. Luckily, all went well during the delivery and mother and daughter are doing fine.
March 20, 2020: Florian, son of Mariska van den Haak (SBE, 2006) and Steffen Crooijmans.
