Welcome

Welcome to the tenth newsletter of the Maastricht Centre for Arts and Culture, Conservation and Heritage (MACCH). MACCH is a transdisciplinary research centre that brings together economic, legal, (art) historical, philosophical, sociological and practical expertise in the fields of arts, culture and heritage.

As for many other sectors, 2020 has been quite a challenging year for arts and heritage. While several MACCH workshops, symposia and the annual conference have been postponed in response to the COVID-19 measures, new research projects emerged or have been adapted to the new circumstances, for instance by going online. The current newsletter reports about new research projects, recent publications, as well as upcoming and past events. We are also pleased to welcome four new MACCH affiliated researchers.

Kind regards,
Dr Vivian van Saaze, Director
