THANK YOU CEES

Who else but his personal secretary Lilian (for 18 years) can put in to words on behalf of SHE what Cees van der Vleuten means to SHE. Although Cees is not leaving, it just needs to be said now he stepped down as Scientific Director.

Thank you Cees for all you’ve accomplished to make SHE what it is today

The enormous amount of travels you made throughout the world are impossible to count, my guess is you have two gold wings.

These travels were needed, because there is nobody else like you to be so enthusiastic in what you do, you make everybody want to do it too.

That is your strength and above that, you’re a wonderful person to be around. I’m not biased, I just know for a fact.

Why go to a conference when there is no time left to go to presentations, because EVERYBODY has made his or her appointments with you at AMEE or at APMEC or where ever.

The future PhD students at the PhD writing course, they look up to you and if you are appointed as their supervisor… oi… some we have to grab off the floor…

You are not leaving, this is no goodbye, this is just saying THANK YOU CEES for SHE on behalf of all of us at SHE
