SHE has three core activities
SHE really makes an impact. Through a combination of research, education and international collaboration activities, we contribute to preparing (future) healthcare professionals for the challenges ahead.
Through high-quality interdisciplinary research, we generate knowledge and insights that inform health professions education and practice change. We achieve that by connecting the improvement of our current practice with the education for and in that practice of our future healthcare workforce. SHE provides high quality multidisciplinary research and teaching aimed at the improvement of health professions education and SHE helps to innovate education programmes.
SHE Research. SHE conducts high-quality interdisciplinary research in health professions education with societal relevance and collaborates closely with partners on (Eu)-regional, national and international levels. With a world-renowned graduate program, SHE supports the developments of scholars in health professions education and helps to generate new knowledge. Insights gained from the SHE Research activities provides input for SHE Educates and Collaborates activities.
SHE Educates. SHE offers a wide range of courses in health professions education, from short courses, certificate courses to degree programmes such as a Master of Science and PhD programme. SHE Educates translates lessons from research and SHE Collaborates into its range of educational activities, which subsequently informs our research programme.
SHE Collaborates. SHE’s office for international collaboration in health professions education, offers a tailored approach to innovative training and consulting in the areas of education, management and research around the globe. These activities build on SHE Research and Educates activities and informs future developments in those core activities.
Through the combined activities of SHE Research, SHE Educates and SHE Collaborates, SHE will work in 2022 with ongoing dedication and passion towards a world in which all healthcare professionals are well educated and in the best position to contribute to high quality care.
