New MACCH Book Series: Studies in Art, Heritage, Law and the Market

We are delighted to announce a new book series with Springer. Studies in Art, Heritage, Law and the Market brings together interdisciplinary scientific and professional expertise in thematically focused publications. The book series, initiated by MACCH affiliated researchers, aims to tackle increasingly complex challenges facing the fields of arts and heritage today.

The series addresses the need for new approaches to research and teaching in the fields of art, culture, conservation and heritage. As such, Studies in Art, Heritage, Law and the Market provides a forum for book publications that:

  • examine the processes that turn cultural objects and practices into arts and heritage;
  • critically assess how and for whom art and heritage values come about;
  • reflect on new approaches in preservation and conservation sciences;
  • enhance novel ways of user engagement and participatory presentations;
  • investigate legal, economic and policy developments related to arts, heritage and intellectual property.
