ERC Starting Grant training

By

If you consider to apply for an ERC Starting Independent Researcher Grant, the ERC Starting Grant training organised on 8 June 2022, might be something for you. This training provides more in-depth information for excellent researchers with an excellent idea for frontier research, who consider applying for an ERC Independent Researcher grant.

The in-house training is for excellent researchers (2-7 years after promotion), who consider applying for an ERC-2023-StG Independent Researcher grant.

Detailed knowledge on how to write an ERC Starting Grant will be provided by A. van den Kroonenberg from Yellow Research. Important issues that will be addressed are:

  • What is ground-breaking challenging frontier research?
  • What constitutes an excellent young researcher?
  • Writing an ERC Grant proposal.
  • The Evaluation Procedure
  • From high-gain/high-risk idea to challenging proposal
  • Demonstrating feasibility
  • Writing outstanding personal track records.

The ERC Starting training is on Wednesday June 8 (10.00-16.00)

The training is in English and the maximum number of participants is 12.

Before entering the training, we will ask you to write your funding ID (current and "pending" funding in own or ERC format) and to provide your CV and personal track record, both in ERC format.

If you are interested in the workshop, please register before May 7, 2022 via the following link: https://maastrichtuniversity.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6scgUAGvBwQ4Gnc
