The dialogue for diversity and inclusivity both in research and in the community will continue within NUTRIM, through sessions led by Ronit Shiri- Sverdlov and Susan Coort dedicated to nurturing a culture of inclusiveness and diversity within the NUTRIM community. Join us.

"The aim is to initiate ongoing conversations and actionable strategies that will bridge gaps and foster inclusivity. Recognizing the pivotal role that diversity plays in fostering innovation and excellence, we extend a warm invitation to all NUTRIM members, including researchers, administrative personnel and support staff, to come together to engage in meaningful dialogue. Interview with Daisy Jonkers in UM magazine

Why did inclusive scientific research begin receiving attention only recently? “Patients today want more influence over their treatment, and are starting to ask doctors to take their differences and preferences into account. Most importantly, society is becoming increasingly diverse, and scientific research is growing along with it. Why is this important, and how can we make research more diverse? “It’s no longer just about the number of publications or grants awarded.”
