ZonMw - Mental Vitality of Workers
|
|
The programme is motivated by the major impact that COVID-19 has on the mental wellbeing of workers and consists of two lines: - Promoting the mental vitality of workers through the provision of guidance and tools by a selected number of qualified professionals - Improving the mental vitality of workers by deploying and evaluating innovative interventions at the level of work organisations
The programme has two funding rounds: - The voucher round for the use of guidance and tools by a selected number of qualified professionals. With the vouchers, R&D funds, industry organisations, organisations for the self-employed and employers' and employees' organizations can hire guidance and tools from accredited professionals for their working group. A process evaluation will provide insight into, among other things, the characteristics of the processes that are used and the experiences of the participants. - The open subsidy round for the deployment and evaluation of innovative interventions , in addition to existing HR policy and at the level of labour organisations. The implementation of the innovative intervention should be evaluated with action research or a feasibility study.

ZonMw Implementatie van kennis en innovaties voor passende zorg
|
|
Met deze call wil ZonMw kennis verder brengen om de zorg te verbeteren, waarbij de vier principes van passende zorg centraal staan (waardegedreven, samen beslissen, juiste zorg op de juiste plek, positieve gezondheid). De Implementatieprojecten stammen af van een of meerdere afgeronde ZonMw-projecten uit de programma’s DoelmatigheidsOnderzoek (DO), Goed Gebruik Geneesmiddelen (GGG), Translationeel Onderzoek (TO). Voor Actieprogramma Grip op Onbegrip (AGO) is dit niet verplicht en kan ook implementatie van bestaande samenwerkingen centraal staan.

|
Veni gives researchers who have recently obtained their PhD the opportunity to further develop their ideas for a period of three years.

Horizon Europe MISS 2022-CANCER-01-04: Towards the creation of a European Cancer Patient Digital Centre (CSA)
|

Proposals should address the existing challenges and develop a roadmap towards the creation of the ECPDC as a virtual, federated network of national infrastructures of patient-controlled health data. It should establish robust communication and effective information exchange between diverse actors such as cancer patients and survivors, formal and informal caregivers, policy makers and researchers.

Horizon Europe MISS 2022-CANCER-01-01: Improving and upscaling primary prevention of cancer through implementation research
|
|
This call of proposals focuses on implementation and upscaling of evidence-based primary cancer prevention interventions, at local, regional or national level, addressing known risk or protective factors and determinants. Proposals should clearly justify and describe the existing evidence supporting the chosen intervention, including evidence of cost-effectiveness and affordability, across health or other sectors. Moreover, another objective is to identify and address the bottlenecks and barriers that might influence uptake and implementation of cancer prevention programmes in accessible, affordable and equitable ways, and their impact in a defined public health context.

First Innovative Health Initiative (IHI) call
|
|
IHI is a public-private partnership (PPP) between the European Union and the European life science industries. Its core goals are to translate health research and innovation into tangible benefits for patients and society, and ensure that Europe remains at the cutting edge of interdisciplinary, sustainable, patient-centric health research.
IHI has now launched its first calls for proposals, offering funding for consortia of health research and healthcare organisations to tackle some of the biggest challenges in health research.
Call 1 consists of the following topics: - Topic 1: An innovative decision-support system for improved care pathways for patients with neurodegenerative diseases and comorbidities - Topic 2: Next generation imaging and image-guided diagnosis and therapy for cancer - Topic 3: Personalised oncology: innovative people centred, multi-modal therapies against cancer - Topic 4: Access and integration of heterogeneous health data for improved healthcare in disease areas of high unmet public health need
Applicant consortia to Call 1 should ensure that out of the total project budget, at least 45% will be covered by contributions provided by project participants.
Call 2 consists of two topics: - Topic 1: Cardiovascular diseases - improved prediction, prevention, diagnosis, and monitoring - Topic 2: Setting up a harmonised methodology to promote uptake of early feasibility studies for clinical and innovation excellence in the European Union

The Next Step daagt je uit om vanuit MUMC+ gedaan onderzoek van papier naar de praktijk te brengen en daarbij te focussen op succesvolle implementatie en impact van het onderzoek. Het gaat hierbij om implementatie van een al bestaande en bewezen effectieve interventie. De interventie moet zijn gericht op gezondheidsbevordering van een breed publiek in de regio en past bij onze Strategie Gezond Leven 2025.

ZonMw – Ontwikkeling routekaart voor paramedische interventies met substitutiepotentieel
|
|
Het doel van deze call is de ontwikkeling van een routekaart voor hoe interventies met substitutiepotentieel nader onderbouwd, opgeschaald en geïmplementeerd kunnen worden. Zodat dit daadwerkelijk leidt tot het verplaatsen of vervangen van zorg (substitutie) en het voorkomen van (duurdere) zorg (preventie). Dit wordt gedaan op basis van de al bestaande (theoretische) kennis over implementatie en het wordt door vertaald naar de paramedische context.

Aim is to make research and the academic labour market in the Netherlands accessible to researchers living in the Netherlands with a demonstrable refugee status. Full, associate and assistant professors and other researchers with a comparable position can submit an application if they currently lead a research project funded by NWO/ ZonMw that will overlap with (at least) the first ten months of the Hestia application and if they have a tenured position or a tenure track agreement

KTF aims to facilitate talented researchers to develop their own research ideas and CV. CAPHRI has no internal selection procedure. Nevertheless you will need a letter of CAPHRI for the matching in euro’s. Before submitting a proposal, please check with S. Bulic, E. van den Heuvel, R. Losada or M. Streefkerk to confirm the School’s willingness and ability to provide the 50% matching in a supporting letter, which is based on the available resources of the research team.

|
Vidi is for researchers who have carried out several years of postdoctoral research (8yrs) after their Phd and have demonstrated the ability to independently generate and effect innovative ideas.

Researchers of any nationality with 2-7 years of experience since completion of PhD (Extensions are possible under certain circumstances, a scientific track record showing great promise and an excellent research proposal. The aim of the research prizes is to encourage international collaboration between excellent researchers.

|
|
Application is open to academic institutions, including universities, academies, and other research-performing organisations that are based in a Council of Europe Member State and are seeking to act as a host institution for a researcher who has been displaced by the war in Ukraine. The EFDS programme has two separate funding lines and funding Line 2 provides funds to affected Ukrainian universities, academies, and research institutes to help them maintain and/or reinstate their scientific operations and research collaborations. New Perspectief funding round 2022/2023 opening soon
|
|
Researchers from universities and universities of applied sciences, TO2 institutions, companies and civil society organisations that would like to work in consortia on technological innovation and societal impact can submit proposals to this programme. The new round is expected to open in July (budget: 1.5 and 4.0 million euros for 6 yrs). The (online) information meeting is expected to take place on 20 September (15.00 h).

Open Competition will open by the end of this year, or early in January with the submission deadline approx. 2 months after the opening of the call. Open Competition funds research proposals for non-programmed, fundamental research. This funding instrument has no thematic limitations and focuses on research proposals in all scientific disciplines with a question or problem that concerns, or overlaps with, fundamental research into healthcare and innovation. The expected outcome of a project is primarily scientific advancement (increased knowledge, development of modelling and theory) within a new collaboration between research groups (team science).

|
|
Leading researcher to work on cutting-edge research at the interface between the humanities and/or social sciences on the one hand and the natural and/or technological sciences on the other.
Award: A fellowship at NIAS for 5 months between September – January or February – June. A personal study, participation in an interdisciplinary community and, if applicable, accommodation or travel expenses. A subsidy to compensate part of teaching replacement costs of up to EUR 3,800 for each fellowship month spent at NIAS. A workshop at the Lorentz Center on the fellowship topic, with full organizational support and a budget of EUR 20,000. The Stevin Prize is awarded to researchers, or a team of two to three researchers, with international reputations. It is an honorary award celebrating what the winners have achieved in their scientific career regarding knowledge exchange and societal impact. It aims to serve as encouragement to continue doing excellent research with relevance to society. In essence the prize works as an impulse for scientific research and knowledge exchange and impact in The Netherlands.
